Doesn't the gcc version include_next the mingw one?  Is there
actually a problem you're seeing?

Please don't.  Please revert.  If there's a real
problem here, I'm sure it has a proper fix.  Let's not get
into the habbit of committing quick workarounds for not
understood problems.
