I've fiddled somewhat with the gtk libraries, I'm trying to get them to
compile. Right now I've done the ones you mention, and I'm in the middle
of glib.

SourceForge has the possibility to define different "packages". Right
now we only have one "package" - the cegcc distribution - and one for
"older voxware stuff".

Maybe this should be treated this way ?

The same question applies to some of the stuff in our tools/ directory
tree, e.g. the rshd.
