Does anyone remember the TV series "The New Detectives" from about 25
years ago? One episode featured law enforcement, (Naval CIS maybe) who
apprehended a suspect who quietly cut a 5.25" disk into pieces using
pinking shears. The guys in the lab assembled the bits on another
(intact) disk using some sort of adhesive and a sacrificial drive. They
got enough of the guy's journal for a conviction. In the background
on a system, you can see the display from AnaDisk...

So, nihil sub sole novum.
