The IMI 7710 34 pin flat cable interface is a variant on the SMD dumb interface which could be controlled by a UDI (universal disk interface) if someone cared enough to build an adapter and then program the UDI to deal with IMI's specific track format and peculiar command/status protocol. CalComp would be easier, but the question remains would either be worth the effort given their relatively low unit shipments compared to the other interfaces?
