Right, you can run an 11/70 from a regular wall socket, but the /780 needs 3-phase, and consumes a LOT more power.  I think you could squeeze a usable 11/70 into a single rack with modern peripherals, but No WAY for a /780.  But, yes, I'm also surprised it didn't sell.
