A chap on the FB Vintage Computing group was seriously asking if an original IBM PC with original packaging was worth USD 1000 this week. A thousand bucks for an 8088. *shakes head in disbelief* I sold a lot of my kit when I moved from the UK to Czechia, 6y ago. Individual 1.2 MB 5¼" disk drives went for £25-£50 each. You might be surprised how much it is worth... I was. -- Liam Proven – Profile: https://about.me/liamproven Email: lpro...@cix.co.uk – gMail/gTalk/gHangouts: lpro...@gmail.com Twitter/Facebook/LinkedIn/Flickr: lproven – Skype: liamproven UK: +44 7939-087884 – ČR (+ WhatsApp/Telegram/Signal): +420 702 829 053
