Alas, there is almost zilch original DEC documentation extant which speaks of it; not even uNote #28: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/academic/computer-science/history/pdp-11/hardware/micronotes/numerical/micronote28.txt which briefly covers all the other late DEC QBUS memories (including the MSV11-M, which ia otherwise _completely_ un-documented) mentions it. But I agree that given the 18 chips, it'a probably parity. Noel
