Yes, it's quite good. Two other good books about the AGC are: Eldon Hall, "Journey to the Moon" which is by a guy who was one of the managers on the project. The book is anything but a 'management history', though (unlike too many 'technical histories', like the Smith/Redmond Whirlwind history, which I was just looking at). The book is a _technical_ history - the engineering is front and center, and management decisions are on the periphery, for background. There's also: Hugh Blair-Smith, "Left Brains for the Right Stuff" which is by someone who was an engineer on the project - he did work on the CPU architecture, and also some software. The book is a mix of personal experiences, and an overall history of the moon race. Noel
