this was back when I was thinking of making a USB smart RS232 dongle that could
flip between DTE and DCE for it so you didn't have to fiddle with null modems
I use a raspberry pi in a case with a touchscreen, small keyboard
remote, and USB serial when I have to trek to the server room.
I even run it all off a battery pack so I don't have to plug in.
