Note that some system-specific printer subsystems (e.g., LP11-xx, LP20-xx, and LP32-xx) contained printers with their own separate designations. As far as I recall, the only printer mechanisms DEC made themselves were dot matrix impact or electrolytic. Of course, they also OEM'd some dot-matrix printers, including the LA50 and LA75.
