The Driver DD(x) expects a DL line (DL11 variant or DLV11j) or equivalent
or it will not work.  However any serial line can work if you write your
own
code for reading or writing.  THe big thing is the TU58 is very bursty
and when reading you get 128byte packets with overhead and if you
can't keep up you get errors.

I have several working tu58s and parallel interface TU58s as well.
