I suspect they're more common in the UK than elsewhere. They were used by the Post Office for the Telex service, for example. They are less common over here than they were perhaps 30 years ago, but not impossible to find. I think one was up for sale for a few 10's of pounds a few weeks ago (it did sell in case you are wondering). Obviously these machines are normally 'collection only' the sellers will not ship them. -tony
