actually, that is to recover 7 or 9 track using an ibm 3480 head stack maybe some day, i'll try respooling a Whirlwind tape and see if I can pull any data off it. I did actually turn up info on the Raytheon drive in the CHM archives, and we have at least one with a head to measure track spacing
