I have it on good authority that Dazzlemation, recreated source code here: http://wsudbrink.dyndns.org:8080/dazzler.html
was initially written on paper and then toggled in on the front panel of an Altair. Whether that is entirely true, I'm not sure, but evidence in the code clearly shows that it was debugged via the front panel. Also, once the program was running, its behavior (speed) was controlled with the front panel switches. Bill S.
