I'd say that the 8000 series (besides the 11/7x0 series) were the most diverse in size compared to the 6000, 7000 and 9000 series. As already mentioned, the 82x0 or 83x0 fit into a small half-height cabinet. The 85x0 has the size of a 6000 or 7000 series vax, if I remember well. The 8800 series were housed in very large cabients, larger than the 6000 and 7000 series cabinets. Pierre
