Hi there,

*Two postdoctoral fellow* positions are immediately available in Tianmin
Fu’s laboratory in the Department of Biological Chemistry and Pharmacology
at the Ohio State University. The positions are supported by NIH and
departmental funding to study molecular mechanism of signaling protein
assembly and regulation in inflammation and neurodegenerative diseases. Fu
Lab aims to understand the logic of cell signaling across membrane using a
multidisciplinary approach including biochemical reconstitution,
cryo-electron microscopy, X-ray crystallography, cell biology and
pharmacology.

Successful candidates are expected work closely with Dr. Fu in the lab to
design and carry out experiments, analyze, organize, and present data in
written form and to meetings, and to write papers and grants.

Salaries, stipend, and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate
with university policy and NIH guidelines.

The Ohio State University (OSU) is located in Columbus, the capital of
Ohio, a fast-growing city in northeast US.

*Postdoctoral fellow candidates* should hold a Ph.D. degree (or will
complete one soon) in structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics,
molecular biology, or closely related biological science areas. Prior
experiences with membrane protein purification, or cryo-electron microscopy
are a plus but not required.

Interested candidates should send a cover letter summarizing their research
interests and CV with a publication list and names and contact info of
three references (preferably in a single PDF) to *fu....@osu.edu
<fu....@osu.edu>*. Informal inquiries are welcome.
