Dear Colleagues
As part of Bruker's continuing webinar series on macromolecular crystallography
techniques, Dr. Elspeth Garman from the Department of Biochemistry at Oxford
University will present a 45 minute interactive webinar entitled "Radiation
Damage in Macromolecular X-ray Crystallography: What's New?". Dr. Garman will
cover factors that might be considered when trying to optimize data collection
strategies with the effects of radiation damage rates in mind. Emphasis will be
placed on practical aspects which can be expedited by the experimenter 'on the
ground'. Additionally, dose distributions in crystals which result from various
data collection protocols will be presented, as calculated by new software,
RADDOSE-3D.
