On September 3-4 we are organizing a meeting in honor of Wim Hol:
Protein structure: from methods via structure and function to drug design. The program ((http://xtal.nki.nl/Wim-Hol-Symposium) will consist of current research of alumni from the Wim Hol lab in Groningen and Seattle, but nevertheless strongly reflects Wim's interests, with sessions on 'Methods for structural biology', 'Protein structure with medical interest' and 'Structure assisted drug design. The meeting is open to anyone interested and friends, former collaborators and co-workers are especially invited. It will take place at the KNAW, the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences in the age-old Trippenhuis, in the center of Amsterdam. This combines easy access with a central location, since the Academy is close to Schiphol airport. Location: KNAW, Trippenhuis, Kloveniersburgwal, Amsterdam Dates: 3-4 September 2012; Attendance to the meeting is free, but registration is required at: http://xtal.nki.nl/Wim-Hol-Symposium We hope to see many of you at this exciting meeting and have a chance to meet with old friends. Please, feel free to forward this message to anyone else you think would be interested in attending. Best wishes, Piet Gros, Andrea Mattevi, Titia Sixma, Christophe Verlinde
