Research Associate in Structural Biochemistry

Limit of tenure: up to 31st August 2013. Salary: £27,319-£35,646 per annum

A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Biochemistry of the 
University of Cambridge, UK to study structure and function of macromolecular 
complexes important for DNA repair and replication (see for instance NSMB 14, 
875-7, 2007; EMBOJ 28, 1978-87, 2009). The position is funded by the Wellcome 
Trust and is available from May 1st, 2010. 

Applicants should have a PhD in structural biology, biochemistry or molecular 
biology. Experience in expression and purification of recombinant protein in 
bacteria and insect cells, protein-protein interaction techniques and enzymatic 
assays is a strong advantage. Knowledge of protein crystallography is
