That's the X11 that comes with OS X.  It's the development arm, so it's
newer than what is in the base, but it's the same code.  If you follow
the x11-users mailing list at Apple, you can get all the gory details of
how broken X11 was when Leopard shipped and how much work has gone into
fixing it.
