Well you have a lot of luck that you can use real IOS-XR devices.

What books (IPX, INE) have you used? Are there any 3.0 books released? I can
not find any.

Have you been on bootcamps, too?

Well I asked the proctor the same question he told me you need 80 point in
order to pass, there are allot of task and 80% of the task score point is
rewarded with 2 points 2 or 3 questions where rewarded with 4-5 points and
those required allot of configurations the rest is 3 points

For the preparation I use most of the time real hardware sometime GNS3 for
IOS, and for IOS-XR I use the test environment at my work I have remote
access to 8 CRS-1-3 we use them to mirror production environment and test
new IOS-XR releases and features that we configure and sell to the costumers
I work for SP. we even have two multi shelf system CRS and allot of 7600
series routers.

I will go soon for the next attempt..just waiting for fail conformation and
I will book my next attempt. Lab is very well design it covers every think
on the blue print. I will advise everyone not going unprepared otherwise you
will be for a big surprise.

Thank you very much that you share your experience with us. I have a few
questions. You said that you probably have 74 points. How much is needed in
order to pass? 80?
On what equipment have you prepared? On IOU or on real equipment? If IOU is
enough for the IOS routers than this are great news!
