I agree with that the explanation should be described a little better.
Still don't 'over'-think the question. I don't see these type of
questions asked and that Cisco would want you to divide the total
bandwidth over the serial interfaces. Just keep in mind that all
serial interfaces have a bandwidth of 512. Technically sub-interfaces
are interfaces as well, so it is covered in the question :-)
Again don't overthink it, just keep it simple and go for the easiest
way. People make a lot of mistakes by making their solution to complex.
