hi... i am a membr of R&S and SP...Regading SP track i had a query....i have 3 3640 routers with NM-1-atm25 modules... now i also have an ls1010 atm switc....i have connected the 3 routers with the atm switch with the the atm25 -4port module on the ls1010 switch....i.e on the ls1010 atm25-4port module has an octal cable like wire attached to it and it goes to my router atm ports....now when i configure my routers with atm it shows up and up for line protocol .....but i am not able to ping the remote router and also i am not able to ping the atm switch......not sure if this is right....i ahve taken the show tech of router and ls1010...which i have attached.....the connection is as follows...R1 atm3/0 ------> ls1010 atm0/0/1R9 atm0/0 ------> ls1010 atm0/0/3the ls1010 atm 0/0/0 to 0/0/3 is a single port which has one octal like cable going to the routers atm port...... .....i am not sure of he cabling.....on my ls1010 i have ATM25 4P PAM ON SLOT 0/0 155MM PAM ON SLOT 0/1 155UTP PAM ON SLOT 1/0 AND ATM SWI/PROC ON SLOT 2/1 I HAVE CONNECTED THE ROUTERS r1,R9 AND R2 WITH THE LS1010 ON SLOT 0/0 VIA A CABLE WHICH LOOKS LIKE OCTAL CABLE WHICHGOES INTO LS1010 AND THE OTHER SIDE GOES INTO MY ROUTERS.....I HAVE ALSO SENT THE SHOW TECH OF THE ROUTER AND LS1010 IN.. i think svc need to be aadded or something is missing.....please help.....
