I agree with Oshin's comments and would add one item.  If you sit for the CCIE 
lab exam within the 18 months after passing the CCIE written, the opportunity 
to sit for the CCIE lab exam is extended an additional 18 months.  This is a 
total of three years from the initial CCIE written exam pass date.
