Hi,OSPF will pick the lower of the two values e.g. R1 int ser 0/0ip address
10.1.1.1 255.255.255.252ip ospf pri 0ip ospf network non-broadcastip ospf 1
area 0 router ospf 1nei 10.1.1.2 pri 255 R2-- int ser0/0ip addres 10.1.1.2
255.255.255.252ip ospf pri 255ip ospf net non-broadip ospf 1 area 0 router ospf
1nei 10.1.1.1 pri 4 R1 is saying it has priority 0, R2 is configured with pri 4
for R1. R2 will use the lower of the values, 0. Thus R2 thinks R1 has a
priority of 0 and therefore R1 will not be DR/BDR. George.
