You would just watch carefully the requirements of the task and just make sure 
that Cisco is not forcing you into one method or the other. 

Also - when it comes to setting the DR, develop a style that you like best and 
are the fastest most efficient with and stick to that. Be sure you have 
practiced any other methods - but definitely develop your "sweet spot".
