I do not believe the logistics for 4hour slots would anyhow be more tricky than
with 8hour slots as the only what would change is the time slot cut to half, so
the devices would get reloaded twice as often as today. The support team which
is available today in certain hours would need to be available also in the same
hours then when the timeslots become shorter.

The devices would need to be reloaded a bit more often (this is still under
control of the user reloading them via the web interface) but still they will
consume the same amount of energy in 4 hour time slots as in 8hour timeslots.

So nothing would change from IPX perspective, just the vrack booking system.

I am also not seeing any issue for people based in different timezones, on the
contrary I do see this as a benefit for them as they do not need to wake up
very early and waste the expensive hours at the end of the long time slot when
practising certain technologies only and not working on mock labs.

Also I do see a benefit resulting from cutting the timeslots to half for IPX,
because much more people would start using the proctorlabs vracks as it's been
obvious from all the responses on this topic I opened coming even from the
senior networking guys who already own their CCIE numbers.
