Hi Guys,

Well, thanks to all for the suggestions...I tried some of the things and concluded that in fact it was probably due to the old version of Windows. So I have upgraded to Windows 7 by the forklift method, partly because a faster processor, more ram and so on is not going to hurt either. The new machine is up and running and can indeed manage 25 (and maybe more???) telnet sessions to GNS 3.

regards
John

I run GNS on Vista and I've had ~30 telnet sessions open. Likely an XP
issue.

I agree. Is it original XP, SP1, SP2, SP3? I remember that SP1 had a severe
restrition on TCP connection limit.
