Hello Chris,

While those commands provide basically the same thing (rp location) they are 
actually different in the fact that they support 2 different auto-rp methods. 
The ip pim send-rp-announce lo0 scope 10 command actually is used with the 
Cisco proprietary method while the ip pim rp-candidate lo0 is used with the 
Bootstrap router method which is standards based. Let me know if you guys think 
differently!
