You are right in that it does break RIP between R5 and R6 on the frame-relay. The question in the lab you should be asking though is do you care? Was there any requirement to have RIP updates work properly between R5 and R6 particuarly? So long as you have reachability and have done what you are asked, it is all good.
Remember, the CCIE lab is not about making things work like you would in a production environment. It is about doing exactly what you are asked to do, nothing more and nothing less. "Between R5, R6 and R7" is referring to VLAN 567 as you guessed. That would be a good time to speak to the proctor and clarify the task.
