There are commands available to you that are hidden and don't show up
when you use the question mark... Crazy I know ;)
Example:
Router(config-router)#bgp bestpath ?
compare-routerid Compare router-id for identical EBGP paths
cost-community cost community
med MED attribute
Router(config-router)#bgp bestpath as-path ignore
Router(config-router)#
You can see when I hit the question mark "?" the command didnt show up
that I used but its there if you know it exists...
Router(config-router)#bgp bestpath as-path ignore
Router(config-router)#
Thats what I am talking about!!

Eh? Interesting, I don't have anything to add as I really don't
understand what you are asking :)
What you mean by "appear" exactly?
:)

Is there anyway in the IOS to enable commands to appear with the "?"
that are hidden?
I couldn't find anything when I googled it...
Just curious...
