The task in Vol1 Lab1 3.10 states, "Traffic to the networks learned from BB1 should prefer the path viva S0/2/1 over S0/2/0. Traffic to the networks learned from BB2 should prefer the path via S0/2/0."
Paths from BB1 were internal to EIGRP 679 Paths from BB2 were external to EIGRP 679 At first I created my ACL and then used a lower distance (85 I think it was) for routes from BB1, and did the same for routes from BB2. This worked for the routes from BB1 which changed from 90 to 85 This did not work for routes from BB2. The distance stayed at 170. I ended up using an offset list for routes from BB2, and all was well. I wondered afterward though, is it possible to change the AD for only particular EIGRP external routes and not other external EIGRP routes? Unfortunately, I was doing the graded labs so I couldn't replicate afterward. Thanks for the help!
