Questions about LAB 11-Volume 2- Task 4-3:
1- Without being asked to not to send ospf updates to Loopbacks, the solution
shows all loopbacks in R2, R5, R6 and R& advertised in OSPF (this was asked),
but made passive-interfaces (this was not explicitly asked). Is this a sort of
best practices to be always followed? Does the same apply with any other
loopbacks advertised in other IGPs?
2- In Task 4-3 when said "... do not send ospf packets on these links", that
could
not be confused with demand-circuit?
3- Finally, why R7 Lo0 (192.168.7.7) does not show up in the RT of R5 ? See
page 428 of the PG?. I believe it should because it was advertised in Task 4-1.
