Hi, Dont know what happened, but now they are behaving the way they should.. When IGMPv2 is used, they use the lowest IP address.. When IGMPv1 is used, the one that becomes DR will become the querier as well... *shrug*
But im still not clear about whether or not pim-sm uses any sort of assert messages to figure out which one should send the explicit join to the RP, and thereby forward traffic to the LAN.
