Seventy-four DC Cormorants just flew north offshore of Elm Beach. Perhaps a dozen more are still cruising around the cove below Thirsty Owl's boat dock, but I cannot say if the first flight came from that location.
This huge flock of DCC's is completely new. We usually see several random birds during the summer, but this huge flock is a mystery.
