Those birds may have to stay near the lake today. The ceiling has dropped to ground level out here in the upper inlet valley, and the surrounding highlands are thickly enshrouded. This is our first day without big flights of departing Snow Geese since last Tuesday before the storm (during the storm itself many flocks took advantage of the strong tailwind to exit the basin). --
