Hi kind CAS wizards, Is there a way to crank up logging so as to figure out why the CAS 7 overlay a colleague and I are working with doesn't seem to be able to connect to an external LDAP server for backend authentication? From the command-line, ldapsearch is able to make queries so it appears not to be a firewall/network issue. It's unclear to me whether information about why things are failing should be in catalina logs, tomcat logs, OS syslog (or dmesg?) and/or somewhere else. But log4j isn't a technology i've worked with before so maybe i'm not getting some config related to that correct. Also, we've been working with debian stable. Is that harder?
