For completeness, this is what worked for me:
<!-- saml request -->
<logger name="org.jasig.cas.authentication.principal.SamlService">
<level value="DEBUG" />
</logger>
<!-- saml response -->
<logger name="PROTOCOL_MESSAGE">
<level value="DEBUG" />
</logger>
I tried the plugin but wasn't having luck in my situation. Maybe I wasn't
doing something right however.
Thanks for the help.
