Eggnog Pound Cake


1 box Pillsbury BunDt Pound Cake Supreme Mix
2/3 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon rum
1/2 cup Half And Half
3 eggs
1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons water
1/4 cup butter or margarine

Grease and flour a 12 cup bunDt pan.

Blend packets 1 and 2 from cake mix 
box with 2/3 cup water, 1/3 cup rum, 
Half And Half, eggs, butter, and 
nutmeg until softened.

Save the topping packet.

Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.

Pour into prepared pan.

Bake 45 to 55 minutes or until a 
toothpick inserted in the center 
comes out clean.

In small saucepan combine topping 
packet from cake mix box with 
remaining sugar, water, and remaining 
butter.

Stir over medium heat until mixture 
comes to a boil.

Remove from heat.

Add remaining rum.

Immediately after cake is removed from 
oven pour half of topping mixture 
around edge of cake in pan.

Cool 10 minutes.

Turn out of pan onto plate.

Brush or spoon remaining topping over 
cake.
