Prune Cake
One interestig cake recipe comes in from Jean Ferguson, 945 Swann St. Try
this "Prune Cake."
1 cup cooking oil
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 junior size jaro f strained baby food prunes
3 eggs
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
Place flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, soda in mixing bowl. Add eggs,
prunes, buttermilk, and oil. Beat for about three or four minutes. Bake at
350 degrees for one hour.
