GRANDMAS GUGELHUPH (Pound Cake)
6 eggs (separated)
1 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter (salt)
2 c. flour
Juice from 1 lemon
Rind from lemon
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. raisins or 1/2 c. chocolate
chips
Beat egg whites. Refrigerate. Cream egg yolks, sugar and butter.
Mix in flour, juice, rind and baking powder. At the end, fold in egg
whites. Pour into greased bundt pan. Add raisins or chocolate
chips. Bake 45 minutes at 350.
