FATHER DON'S OLD FASHION RAISIN CAKE
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 box raisins
3 Tbsp. margarine
2 1/2 c. water
3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
Mix brown sugar, raisins, margarine and water together
and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let get cold. Then
add plain flour, soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and allspice. Mix all
together and cook at 350 degrees until done. A very old recipe.
