For my white cake, I just use Duncan Hines boxed mix, but I change it... and I don't use egg whites like it calls for. I use whole eggs, whole milk (instead of water) and I add 1 tsp clear vanilla. The cake still comes out very white and tastes wonderful. Hugs, Trish
