when i read what you wrote i feel i had written it myself !
That is why i put piece of code and tuto on my blog too.
And about the doc, when i dont understand how things work
i put die("foobar")/echo "i am here" to trace the calls.
This is very long but as everyone say, the doc is a little bit short
in explanation
but as i'm curious from nature that does not disturb me more than
