Dan commented his generator would fire on starting fluid but not run. I had the same problem last December. It was still under warranty so i had it checked by a service tech. He discovered the carbon monoxide sensor was bad and keeping the machine from running. He disconnected the sensor and it ran fine. 4 months later he still could not get a replacement sensor so the manufacturer gave me a whole new machine.
