Good eye, Allen! The elusive Wouff Hong has made an appearance on my balcony.
Truth be told, it’s the back of a transistor radio that I scrapped and seemed
like a good tactical solution for an insulator. Ham ingenuity at its best lol….
I do plan on getting a more permanent center insulator on my next iteration.

Thankfully, I can report that my antenna DOES work! This evening, I gave it
another try and tuned in - plenty of dots and dits and even a few voice chats.
Now I have a working antenna that I can refine.

I appreciate the replies and suggestions.

Thanks BVARC,

Ricki
