I think some kenwood HTs are still made in the states. <https://www.kenwood.com/usa/com/amateur/th-d75a/> TH-D75A | Amateur Radio | Communications | KENWOOD USA<https://www.kenwood.com/usa/com/amateur/th-d75a/> kenwood.com<https://www.kenwood.com/usa/com/amateur/th-d75a/> [apple-touch-icon.png]<https://www.kenwood.com/usa/com/amateur/th-d75a/>
I think most of their new offerings are tribanders though. Hunt on eBay for some used TK and TH series you might find something cool! Motorola makes some but they’re more targeted to first responders/professionals. You can however program them to hit specific repeaters. On the HF side Elecraft is one of the best: <https://elecraft.com/> [logo.png] Elecraft<https://elecraft.com/> elecraft.com<https://elecraft.com/> 73, Jay KJ5HMX On Feb 17, 2025, at 12:00 PM, ralph phillips via BVARC <bvarc@bvarc.org> wrote: A new ham is looking for a radio MADE IN AMERICA.
