Several people have approached me about getting a ham radio license.
I have set up a class in my neighborhood community building near West Belfort
and Hwy 59.
It would take 4 or 5 Saturdays at 6 hours a day .

We will cover the base level license (Technician License) and give the test on
day 3 or 4.
Class Material includes how to make SIMPLE antennas and portable operations.
I have reserved the building for 5 Saturdays so we can introduce some material
for the 2nd level license (General License) too.

The class will be open to ALL.
No upper or lower age limits.
You do not need to be a neighborhood resident.
Scouts are welcome too!

Where: Glenshire Community Building 8900 AbbeyDale Dr. Houston, Texas 77031
When: Starting Jan 11, 2025 and finishing Feb 8, 2025.
Time: 9 a.m. To 3p.m.
Cost: class is $45 per person to cover pizza for lunch each day and a study
guide for $33
The license test fee is separate: $15

Please pre-register because the room is limited to 30 people and so we can get
books
