If you are using two antennas simultaneously with a single radio then
yes you would need a duplexer for VHF and UHF.

To all,
I am still working on my satellite antenna. My question now is, I have
a 2m and a seperate 70cm antenna, both on the same turret like a set
of cannons on a battleship. I have a baofeng and a kenwood TM-71a
radio. Do I need to put the antennas on a duplexer or since the radio
is already dual band with one input, I am good already?
Thank you all in advance.
