From: tdxs-list [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Pat Cameron Sent: Monday, February 16, 2015 9:38 AM To: TDXS List Subject: [tdxs-list] Isla del Coco DXpedition progress UPDATE @ 13:00z - The TI9/3Z9DX team now arrived Cocos Island. Seas are rough due to nearby storm and they need to wait a few more hours before attempting to set foot on the island. Once the boat is unloaded they have a 40 minute walk (perhaps a few times) with equipment to the designated QTH. Anticipated start time of activity approx. 5-6 hours from now, ie 18:00-19:00z. They made over 3000 QSOs when Maritime Mobile (which does not count for DXCC.) |
